Cross Section Designer works inside AutoCAD to find the properties of 2-D cross-sections drawn in AutoCAD. Among the properties found are area;centroid; moments of inertia about the centroidal axis, principal axes,and arbitrary axes; sum of moments of inertia about the centroidal axis,principal axes, and arbitrary axes; and the principal axes angles.Cross Section Designer also draws the different axes, labels them, andprints the values of the properties on the drawing.Using the Cross Section Designer is as simple as selecting a cross-section and then selecting the properties you need to know from themenu. Cross Section Designer is written in the powerful AutoLisplanguage so it works inside AutoCAD, and is very easy to use.
